Things to Do

These are busy days.  We are at the end of school year with all the craziness that brings, and it is a race to cram everything in  before school is out for the summer.  So, it is very important to be organized so that I don't look like a dead beat mom miss an end of the year program or conference.  I need to have my list in a place where I can see it or else it will end up forgotten or not get done.  I love planners, but I am not good with actually using planners.  I tend to do best with a good old fashioned chalkboard or cork board in a central location.  I will even stick handwritten notes on a kitchen cabinet door with scotch tape.  I found this adorable To Do list via Simply Seleta..

So cute and low tech!  I love the idea of hanging a clip board in a visible location so that I can always see it and be reminded of what I need to do.  I guess this is why it is called a "to do" list..... I love technology, but I just can't seem to get into keeping a calendar or list on my phone or iPad either.  It just doesn't work for me.  I enter all the information and then forget to look at it.  I just need an easy to read list!  I want to be able to scribble on it and check each item off.  Best part is that if the week is a total disaster and I didn't get anything done, I can just start a new page, all fresh and clean. It doesn't even leave chalk dust residue or anything to remind me that I was a slacker.

So, three cheers for the old fashioned To Do list!!  Hip Hip Hooray! Who's with me?!  Click here to get your own copy.

How do you stay organized?

Until next time.....

Kathy

P.S. I also want that stapler.

  1. Kathy, we used to have a stapler kind of like that growing up...do you remember? It just didn't have the circle topper thingy...it was a rectangle...I wonder if it's still alive!

    1. Oh yeah, I had forgotten, but we did have a stapler like that. Maybe that is why I like it.
